The principal of the firm, Jim Keogh, attained the degree of Bachelor of Jurisprudence (with majors in Economics and Politics) in 1968, and that of Bachelor of Laws in 1970, at Monash University.

He was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia on 1st March, 1971.

He was admitted to practise law in the U.K. by the Supreme Court of England on 3rd March, 1997 after passing the Law Society of England’s entrance exam with honours.

He was then admitted to practise as a solicitor in Ireland by the High Court of the Republic in July, 1997 and has been a member of the Law Society of Ireland since that date.

Jim Keogh was President of the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce (1999-2000) and has excellent connections at business and governmental level in Ireland.

A number of our clients have interests in Ireland and the U.K.. Some client corporations have operations there, and some individual clients have family estate and business interests.

We also have a close alliance with several Law firms in Dublin, and with Freeth Cartwright, Solicitors in the U.K., and Linda Hogg, specialist corporations lawyer in British Columbia, Canada.

We have travelled extensively for clients, including trips to Vancouver, Canada (public company listing), many trips to various Asian capitals, USA, the U.K. as well as Ireland.
